The epic installation named ‘The Observatory’ will see the wonders of the universe projected onto the beautiful architectures of the Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Paul by the artists at Luxmuralis.
Luxmuralis have staged another event at the Cathedral before Christmas named ‘The Angels’, which visitors said was “absolutely magical”.

The cathedral is set to welcome visitors to its latest show on Friday, March 13 at 6.40pm – letting the last visitors through at 9pm.
But, if you miss that date don’t worry as the installation will be at the Cathedral till March 20.
The Reverend Canon Keith Farrow, Vice Dean and Canon Missioner of Sheffield Cathedral said: “Ancient churches would at one time have been brightly painted and coloured on the interior and the images would have told people the stories of faith and depictions of events in the bible. Through imaginative and innovative use of sound and light we’re using modern technology to do the same.
