The group has donated a jacket to the Help Our NHS campaign, which has been set up by former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher’s tour manager Ben Pomphrett in aid of health service staff.
Turner wore the Berghaus garment when the Arctic Monkeys, who formed in High Green, headlined the T in the Park festival in Scotland in 2007.

Other prizes have been contributed by Lewis Capaldi, The Chemical Brothers and Snow Patrol, while Gallagher is raffling off several lots such as tickets for future gigs, a signed Pretty Green parka, an autographed tambourine and a pair of signed Adidas LG Spezial trainers.
People can also bid for the chance to visit the set of Peaky Blinders when the drama’s sixth season is filmed.
Pomphrett said the idea for the project ‘mainly stems from having a partner who works in intensive care’.

“Since I work as a tour manager, and the music industry now on pause for the foreseeable, it’s a way for me to put my free time to good use, and hopefully do something beneficial.”
He said that partnering with Scottish charity The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice had ‘transformed this project from an idea to a reality, and will also help with their day-to-day operations which include treating patients affected by Covid-19, which isn’t necessarily obvious when thinking about frontline staff'.
The raffle runs until 6pm on April 17 and costs £5 to enter. Bidders need to be aged 18 or over. See https://www.nhsfest.co.uk/home for further details.
