Good afternoon - and welcome to Hillsborough!

Sheffield Wednesday are the hosts this afternoon as they welcome Shrewsbury Town - very much a bogey side last season.

The Shrews arrive out of form and harbouring serious injury worries. Wednesday are surely big favourites to keep their form rolling forward and take three points.

We’ll be on-hand to deliver all the meaningful updates from S6. Keep it locked to the blog all afternoon.

LIVE: Sheffield Wednesday v Shrewsbury Town

For all their dominance and territory, Wednesday are the team under pressure..

Two remaining, plus injury time.

Bannan went through on goal from a fine FDB pass - his shot is saved and Gregory can’t quite direct it home from a tight angle.

No risks taken. He looked to be in sme discomfort. Mallik Wilks is on in his place.

Josh Windass is down and looks in a bit of pain. Seems to be holding his groin rather than his hamstring, which is what caused him so much trouble last season.

Lee Gregory is on for Alex Mighten, who worked his proverbials off on that left.

What that does to the system we’re not sure..

Smith’s header from Bakinson spins just wide.

Bannan’s cross causes problems - a Shrews player nudged it wide.

Windass was waiting to pounce.
