Dele-Bashiru, has been with the Citizens since he was a child, but is now looking at getting more regular senior game time elsewhere as he approaches his 20th birthday early next year – and he could get that opportunity at S6.
And The Star understands that there is now a club-to-club agreement between Wednesday and City as the Owls seek to delve into the market early ahead of next season, though negotiations remain ongoing regarding personal terms between SWFC and the player himself as things stand.

The midfield man, a graduate of City’s renowned youth academy, could prove to be one of Wednesday’s first signings ahead of the 2020/21 season, and certainly fits the ‘young, dynamic and hungry’ profile that Monk has spoken of with regards to future captures.
Dele-Bashiru – the younger brother of Watford’s Tom Dele-Bashiru – has one year left on his current contract with City, and the agreed upon transfer fee between the clubs remains unknown at this point in time.
