Wilder recently admitted, in an interview with a Norwegian TV outlet, that United may struggle to keep hold of Sander Berge if they lose their Premier League status this season, while the likes of Jack O’Connell, George Baldock and John Egan could all attract interest from top-flight sides if United are condemned to the Championship.
But Wilder, speaking ahead of tomorrow’s clash with relegation rivals Fulham, admitted: “For me the model of the club is that we keep and go again.

“I don’t want to lose anybody. There’ll be discussions but I don’t want to lose anybody. I’m working to the model of keeping everybody unless a fabulous bid comes in and we can’t stand in their way and it’s right for the club.
“We didn’t want to lose David Brooks but we had to do that business to fund a promotion bid. You have to have an eye of what might happen, of course, but only a little one.

“I want to keep everybody and be nice and strong and see if we have an opportunity. If the inevitable does happen, as we’re not in a great position at the minute, then we keep and go again.
“But there’s still a fight and fire in the belly of me and the players that we can win games between now and the end of the season.”
