One player to attract considerable interest is Sheffield United midfielder John Lundstram who played a key role in the Blades' stellar 2019/20 campaign that saw the club defy pre-season expectations and secure a top-half finish.
Speaking to Football Insider, former Sunderland sensation Kevin Phillips talked up the 27-year-old and claimed he'd be an ideal signing for West Ham United.

“Going there as a bit of backup but if you do well you can find yourself playing. (David) Moyes knows what he wants.
“He doesn’t sign players if he doesn’t know they’re going to do the job. I was surprised when Dawson went there but Moyes knew about him. Lundstram could be a real shrewd signing if they get that one over the line.”
The ex-England international has been on the books at Bramall Lane since 2017, when he was signed from Oxford United following the Blades' promotion from League One.
