The striker, United's top-scorer this season, missed last weekend's heavy defeat at Leicester with a knee problem, but has trained and will be monitored ahead of the trip to the capital.
"He'll ice it and do the usual recovery and we'll have him back on the grass tomorrow," Heckingbottom said.
"He's trained, so we'll monitor him but it's a bonus.

"Everyone knows we’re light in bodies, especially in certain positions. I’d love to have everyone fit and hopefully we can get back towards that before long."
Defender John Egan also returned to light training, but Sander Berge remains some way off a comeback despite being named in the latest Norway squad.
"Egs is back out on the grass today, but short term he won’t be with us," Heckingbottom added.
"There’s an international break after this game and that’ll be a big two weeks to see how we can get him along.

"The sooner we can get him back, the better, because I'd love to have a full squad to choose from."
Egan has not featured for United's first team since damaging his foot and being carried off away at West Ham, while Berge went under the knife to reattach a severed hamstring after damaging the muscle against Manchester United in December.
