Residents have been evacuated as smoke and fire has been spilling out of a Sheffield City Centre apartment building this evening.
A number of South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue crews are at the Queens Stay Apartments on Queens Street to deal with the incident. One witness told The Star they saw “fire coming out of the top window” and added the ordeal was “super scary”.
Another witness, who lives in the next building, said the entire apartment building has been evacuated. SYFR have been asked for more information.
