Police called out to Sheffield railway station over concerns for man's welfare
Police were called out to a footbridge at Sheffield railway station this afternoon over concerns for a man's welfare.
The force received reports concerning a man on the station's 'Old Iron Footbridge' at around 3.40pm.
Residents reported seeing a large police presence at the scene.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said officers managed to safely resolve the situation with the man concerned at around 5.25pm.
