Police officers were called out to a field in Doncaster after a dog attacked an alpaca.

The attack happened in a field behind Holme Hall Lane, Stainton, at 4pm on Saturday.

A vet was called out to treat the alpaca.

A large, black, long-haired alsation was responsible for the attack.
