Pensioner fighting for life after Barnsley town centre collision

A man, aged 79, is fighting for life after a collision in Barnsley town centre.

The pensioner was hit by a Ford Focus outside Barnsley College, Old Mill Lane, at around 12.40pm yesterday.

He remains in hospital in a life threatening condition.
