Man arrested over rape and drugging of teenage girl in Rotherham
He was arrested by officers from the National Crime Agency as part of an independent probe into child sexual exploitation and abuse in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013.The NCA said the suspect has been taken to a police station in Rotherham for questioning.
He was arrested on suspicion of rape, indecent assault and administering drugs to obtain or facilitate intercourse.
The offences relate to a girl aged under 16.

Hide AdThe arrest, as part of Operation Stovewood, takes the total made so far to 15.
The NCA said it has 42 suspects after making contact with 141 victims.
Operation Stovewood was launched after a report into child sexual exploitation in Rotherham found that between 1997 and 2013 some 1,400 children were abused by men of largely Pakistani heritage between while those in authority failed to act.
