South Yorkshire Police employee used 'inappropriate sexualised comments'

The employee attended a misconduct hearing last week, where three instances of such language were discussed.
South Yorkshire Police said the worker accepted breaching expected standards of behaviour and was issued with a final warning.

Hide AdIn a statement, the force said: “The staff member was subject to three specific breaches of which consisted of inappropriate sexualised comments that had been made in the presence of a number of colleagues.
“The staff member accepted that they had breached the standards of professional behaviour regarding authority, respect and courtesy.
“The staff member accepted that the conduct amounted to misconduct and the chair determined that the most appropriate outcome was a final written warning.”
Police employees subject to misconduct proceedings face the sack for some breaches of standards if their behaviour is deemed to be gross misconduct.
