Sheffield Magistrates’ Court - sitting at Sheffield Crown Court - heard today, April 20, how John Bull, 52, of Park Road, Wath-upon-Dearne, had been visiting his former partner in Rotherham when he threatened her neighbour.
Alison Goldsmith, prosecuting, said the neighbour had heard shouting and told the defendant to stop swearing but Bull told the neighbour to shut up and threatened to assault him.

Hide AdBull pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour after the incident on April 17.
Matthew Shepherd, defending, said Bull claimed the complainant had told him that he would shut him up.
Mr Shepherd added Bull, who is alcohol-dependent, had been visiting his ex-wife and he had been drinking but he was not heavily intoxicated.
District Judge Grace Leong fined Bull £100 and ordered him to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £30 costs.
