A 34-year-old man has appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court charged with multiple firearm offences, after police executed a warrant.

Ashley Gregory, of Danewood Avenue in the Castlebeck area of Sheffield, appeared before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Friday, July 7, 2023) charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of ammunition and the manufacturing of ammunition.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Sheffield Crown Court at a future date, which is yet to be confirmed.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said today (Saturday, July 8, 2023) that Mr Gregory was charged, following the execution of a police warrant.
