Police seize cannabis plants worth £125,000 in Barnsley

Three people have been arrested after cannabis plants worth £125,000 were found in Barnsley on Tuesday (January 21).

Barnsley South East Neighbourhood Police said a drugs warrant was executed at a address on Sheffield, Road Hoyland where they discovered cannabis plants worth £25,000.

They then proceeded to arrest three individuals, which then led the officers to a nearby address where they discovered another cannabis set up at a nearby address.

The cannabis plants at the second property were approximately worth £100,000.
