A Sheffield man who spotted household waste dumped in a Sheffield lane has shared a picture of it on Facebook to shame the fly-tipper.

Paul Moynahan was walking along Stone Lane, Woodhosue, for his daily lockdown exercise when he spotted the waste.

An old bath was among the fly-tipped items.

“I walk a lot around S13 and on the topic of waste, dog waste has definitely got worse since the lockdown because a lot more people are dog walking but they’re letting them do it on the pathways in the woods and not cleaning it up afterward, and there’s a lot of black doggie bags hanging from tree branches. Why?”

In Rotherham, PCSOs have investigated four cases of fly-tipping in Eastwood over recent and found evidence of who the waste belonged to.

They will all receive £400 fines.
