Gunman remains at large after shooting in Sheffield

The gunman opened fire on Bramall Lane, Sheffield, on Friday afternoon – hitting one man.
Witnesses said the victim, a man in his 20s, staggered into the Premier store on the corner of Bramall Lane and Cherry Street to raise the alarm.

Hide AdParamedics arrived to treat the man, who was then taken to hospital, and the matter was reported to South Yorkshire Police.
A crime scene cordon was put in place on Friday while a forensic examination was carried out.
Officers also spent the day looking for witnesses and CCTV footage to help identify the culprit.
No arrests have yet been made.
