Police seized more than £200,000 worth of cannabis during a dawn raid in Sheffield on Friday.

South Yorkshire Police’s Tasking Team made the “significant seizure” at a property on Clarke Square in the London Road area during the early hours of this morning (15 May).

The large cannabis set up consisted of around 229 plants with a total value of no less than £220,000, police said.Two men are in custody after they were arrested at the scene on suspicion of drugs offences.
