Two boys, aged 12, were among three people arrested after a teenage girl was robbed at a cash point near Barnsley.

South Yorkshire Police said the 15-year-old victim had been targeted at a cash machine on West Street in Hoyland on Thursday, February 27, at around 5.15pm.

PCSO Anthony Thorpe said on Friday evening that a 15-year-old boy and two boys aged 12 had been arrested and remained in custody following ‘prompt action’ by the newly reformed Hoyland Neighbourhood Team, response officers and CID.
