Council approves Shalesmoor apartments despite neighbour concerns
Councillors were happy to pass Cadenza VM Ltd’s plan to redevelop the site of Acorn House in Shalesmoor, despite hearing objections at Tuesday’s planning and highways committee meeting.
Neighbour Jamie Hanson said he was ‘pro-development’ but wanted it to be done ‘in the right way’.

“The development should be more subservient to the existing buildings.
“Works on the boundary would cause us great concern as we would have to re-route air vents.”
Planning officer Lucy Bond said residents of Mr Hanson’s property had been warned they would not get much space because of the site boundary.
