Car crashes into two schoolboys riding a bike by busy Sheffield road

The two boys were riding the bike down Handsworth Grange Road at around 2.20pm when they were hit by the red Skoda Citigo.

Police said the crash happened close to the junction with Handsworth Road.

One boy, aged 15, suffered minor injuries in the incident. The extent of injuries to the other boy are not yet known.

Eye-witnesses said they spotted a young boy lying on the ground with a crowd of people surrounding him.
