Body identified as missing man who vanished in Sheffield
A body found in Sheffield has been formally identified as that of a missing pensioner who vanished two weeks earlier.
Barry Jones, aged 77, from Aston, Rotherham, was reported missing on Tuesday, February 28 after leaving home that morning but failing to return.
He was last seen getting off a bus opposite the Princess Royal pub, Woodhouse Mill, Sheffield and on Friday, March 10 his body was found in the Woodhouse Mill area.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
