Barry Bannan relishing Spanish test
Jos Luhukay's men entertain the La Liga side in their final pre-season friendly tomorrow, kick-off 3pm.
It represents the last opportunity for the Owls' players to put themselves into Luhukay's selection thoughts before their Championship opener at Wigan Athletic on Saturday, August 4.
Bannan told The Star: "It is a big game.
"They are a top, top team and keep the ball well.

Hide Ad"It will be a great test, especially the week before we play Wigan.
"We want to win the game and impress because the first game of the season is the following week. You want to be in that starting team for the Wigan game."
Wednesday kicked off their friendly programme with a comfortable behind-closed-doors victory over Bury.
After undergoing two intense training camps, the Owls then overcame Lincoln City in their first public workout.

Hide AdBut results have been mixed this week, with Wednesday prevailing 1-0 in a private friendly against NAC Breda before slumping to a a 2-1 defeat at Mansfield Town on Tuesday.
"You don't look too much into the results in pre-season," stressed Bannan.
"It is just getting your fitness in the first couple of games, staying injury free and getting minutes under people's belts.
"Obviously, you want to win games no matter what level it is. You want to start looking towards the Wigan game and doing things right.

Hide Ad"A couple of games are for getting minutes under your belt and getting your fitness back up but, as it comes towards the end of pre-season, it is about doing the right things and performing well."
Wednesday have confirmed the 1867 Lounge will be closed this weekend. The Lounge will be open as usual to Owls Foundation members when the Owls face Hull City at home on August 11.
