Barnsley: George Moncur happy to get up and running at Reds
The 24-year-old midfielder signed for the Reds for £500,000 last summer from Colchester United, but failed to make his mark on the side until returning from a loan deal in January.
Moncur was shipped out to Peterborough United and scored a brace on his first start for the club.

And he said: “The situation I was in last year, it’s a massive turnaround for me.
“I’m really happy with the way it’s been going for me here so hopefully I can carry that on.
“It’s been tough, but it’s been well worth it because I know what the manager wants of me now and I know what I have to do to be in the team.

Moncur has been an unused substitute in the Reds’ past two games after missing the trip to Millwall.
And the player, who has scored once this season, insists there is still more to come from him in terms of goals.
He added: “I think there’s definitely more to come. I think I can definitely score more goals.

“If you can get better in any aspect of your game then you’ll become a better player, it’s as simple as that.
“Hopefully my performances will keep getting better and better.
“I’m sure if I keep playing games then that quality will shine through.”
