This was the scene on a South Yorkshire street yesterday after a crash –with a child in the back of the car when it overturned.
Emergency services were called out to the scene in Barnsley after the vehicle crashed into a lampost, knocking the vehicle onto its side, before skidding a short way along the road. The injured driver was taken to hospital.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: “The driver required hospital treatment but will make a recovery, her child on the back seat was unscathed.”
