24 youngsters from South Yorkshire have received Junior Wardens Awards, for their work becoming more aware of life dangers.
The Dodworth Crime and Safety Group Junior Warden scheme, in Barnsley, have trained in first aid, visited a fire station, researched mountain rescue and studied the dangers of train lines.
