An air ambulance landed on Hallamshire Golf Club at 11.20am yesterday (Sunday, June 28) after a walker had fallen down a five-metre cliff into a river gully, opposite the Shiny Sheff on Crimcar Lane.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service said they were called to the scene after the man who had been on a stroll with his family, slipped from the footpath which runs alongside the golf course and fallen off the rock face.
