Another 672 people across Sheffield tested positive for coronavirus during the week ending February 14, giving a weekly rate of 114.9 new cases per 100,000 people – down from 171.7 during the previous seven days.
The weekly rate also fell in Rotherham, from 222.3 to 214.0, and in Barnsley, from 191.6 to 177.0.

Hide AdBut in Doncaster, there were another 584 cases recorded as the rate rose slightly from 186.0 to 187.2.
It was one of just 13 local authority areas in England out of 315 where cases have risen in the latest week.
In 301 areas, or 96 per cent of those for which figures are available, the number of new cases is falling, while in one it has remained unchanged.
Corby in Northamptonshire has the highest Covid rate in England, with 317.1 new cases per 100,000 people.
