FOOTBALL RUMOURS: Championship sides in a race to sign former Spireite stopper Richard O’Donnell

Former Spireites stopper Richard O’Donnell could soon be on the move as his deal at Walsall is set to expire.

O’Donnell made 14 appearances for Chesterfield during the 2012/13 season, which included a loan spell at Stockport, before he left for Walsall.

The 26-year-old has gone on to make 90 appearances for the Saddlers over the past two seasons, including 21 clean sheets in the campaign just gone.
