Sheffield wants to drop its phones and get outside - and here's where you can
The study, by Cosy Owl, looked at the time young people spend on technology compared to activities such as arts and crafts or household chores. It found that 71% of females aged 18-24 currently feel distracted by technology at home.
Almost half of people asked stated that, if they had more time, they’d love to spend some of it enjoying other activities. Tellingly, only under 10% of responders said they’d like to spend more time on the internet or social media.

This coming Saturday there is the community arts and crafts fair at Saint Andrew’s Church on Psalter Lane. It runs from 12pm to 4pm.
On September 28th, Craft Saturday at Happy Hare on Arundel Road runs from 10am to 4pm.
On October 4, exciting local business and jewellery initiative CAST are running Crafty Crafts from 2pm to 4pm at St Mary’s Church.

Hide AdAnd on October 29, there is a kids arts and crafts workshop at Kommune foodhall on Angel Street between 10am and 11am.All of these activities and days are open to anyone from Sheffield, welcoming anybody that wants to get out and about and away from technology.
