A "drive-in" musical theatre event is coming to Meadowhall - and will help to raise money for homelessness charity
and live on Freeview channel 276
Organised and staged by Roundabout, the Musical Theatre Drive-In will be presented live in the orange car park at Meadowhall Shopping Centre on Saturday, June 12.
Roundabout is a South Yorkshire youth homeless charity, which supports young people aged 16 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and proceeds from the event will help them to continue running their services.

Hide AdRoundabout’s Events Fundraiser, Emily Bush, said: “Roundabout has been badly hit by the pandemic and to ensure we can continue running our services and be there to support as many young people as possible, we are looking to the future and creating events to help inspire both current and new supporters.
“This is a true drive-in experience but instead of a movie, we are aiming for a fantastic display of live entertainment.”
From Hairspray to Annie, We Will Rock You to Mamma Mia, Kinky Boots to The Rocky Horror Show, some of South Yorkshire’s most talented singers and theatre companies will perform numbers from a variety of popular musical theatre shows in support of Roundabout.
Meadowhall, The Leadmill, Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Hallam University are among the organisations that have already pledged to support the event.
