Children hurt in car crash
A BABY and two other young children sustained minor injuries in a car crash on London Road in Sheffield yesterday.
Firefighters from Sheffield’s Central station came across the collision, believed to have involved a taxi and a car, just after 4pm as they were travelling back from a separate incident.
A second fire engine was called to the scene and crews had to free a 56-year-old man from one of the vehicles.
A woman, thought to be in her 20s, and three children, aged five, seven and a baby aged under one, were also caught up in the collision.
