The WST today said: “Please keep an eye on the WST website and social media this week for details on 2020 Betfred World Championship tickets.”
Last week it emerged that several players had withdrawn due to concerns over coronavirus and quarantine regulations, though none are believed to be among the top 16 ranked players who qualify automatically.
The Government has since announced new quarantine exemptions ensuring the championship and other major sporting events can go ahead.
