Barnsley: Struber 'proud' of his Reds team as they end long wait for victory
The Reds last tasted victory way back on the opening day of the season, when optimism was still high following their promotion from League One.
It had been a miserable 17 games of toil in the Championship, but they got a victory at last with a 3-1 win over Hull in Gerhard Struber's first home game in charge.

Hide AdAlex Mowatt's first-half screamer put the Reds in front and Mike Bahre's second – a confident finish - 15 minutes from time doubled their lead.
The nerves were frayed when Keane Lewis-Potter headed Hull back into it in the final 10 minutes but Conor Chaplin's fierce drive made sure Barnsley's drought ended.
It was Struber's first victory in three games and, now only five points from safety, he can see positive signs.
“It was a very important game,” the Austrian said.
“The last days were very difficult for the mindset for my players.
