'Thanks for the memories' - young Chesterfield striker confirms his departure from club

The 19-year-old, who has been out on loan this season, has not been offered a new contract.
He posted on Twitter: “It has been a good 3 years at @ChesterfieldFC but unfortunately my time has come to an end, thank you for the memories.”

Hide AdAmantchi started out at the famous Wallsend Boys Club which has produced the likes of Alan Shearer, Peter Beardsley and Michael Carrick.
He joined the Spireites’ youth team after a successful trial and made his full senior debut as a substitute against Boreham Wood in September 2018.
A month later the forward signed his first professional contract on a two-and-a-half year deal.
This season Amantchi has been out on loan at National League North Blyth Spartans - scoring two goals in 16 appearances - and then later joined Staveley Miners Welfare.
He joins fellow youngster Charlie Wakefield in leaving the club.
