Josh Windass made a goalscoring return to action for the Owls over the weekend, marking his return from suspension with a second Championship goal of the season as he got on the end of a delightful Adam Reach cross against Norwich City.
The forward, who served a three-game ban following his red card against Preston North End last month, made it through 65 minutes of the encounter at Carrow Road, but it appears that Tony Pulis’ decision to take him off may not have been a tactical one.

Speaking after the game in Norwich, Pulis told the media, “We’re a little bit concerned he’s got a bit of a thigh strain, so that’s another worry. But we need all of our players back in the team.”
It wasn’t all bad news though, with the Owls manager adding, “We get Massimo back for Tuesday which will help, and Dom has had another 55 minutes which is important.”
Wednesday have seen the likes of Aden Flint and Jack Marriott ruled out with long-term injuries, while Keiren Westwood recently joined the injury list as he faces a couple more weeks on the sidelines.
