The Owls, who enter the clash fresh from a 1-0 win over high-flying Bournemouth in midweek, will have their work cut out to record just a third home win in 2020 against a Lions side who have won four of their six away matches in the league this season.
But their chances will be boosted by the continued absence of loanee pairing Kenneth Zohore and Troy Parrott, of West Brom and Tottenham Hotspur respectively, who have been ruled out through injury.

Zohore in particular was understood to be a major Owls target in the final weeks of the transfer window just gone, eventually signing for Millwall after the Hillsborough club sealed a deal for Derby’s Jack Marriott on deadline day.
Wednesday are thought to have had reservations over Zohore’s fitness levels.
Republic of Ireland international Parrott, 18, is yet to feature for the Lions owing to an ankle injury, while Dane Zohore, 26, has been ruled out for eight weeks with a calf injury sustained after he scored his first goal for the club in their win at Preston last week.
Speaking ahead of their trip to Hillsborough, Millwall manager Gary Rowett said on Zohore’s fitness: “It’s really disappointing. We feared the worst when it first happened. He got to 70 minutes [against Preston] and the plan was always to try and get him off around then – but he was fine.

“When you think about the likes of Troy Parrott and Ken Zohore, you’re hoping they could be the difference in the final third for us – or at least some very good Championship options. Both have been unavailable, pretty much, for the games.
“Troy isn’t far off but to lose Ken for that period of time – particularly after he performed so well at Preston – we’re going to have to crack on without him for the time being.”
