"Walsall away please, said nobody ever": How Sheffield Wednesday fans reacted to Carabao Cup draw against Walsall
and live on Freeview channel 276
The match will be the first of Garry Monk’s second season in charge of the club and Wednesdayites, who won’t be able to enter the Prescot Stadium for the tie due to continued coronavirus regulations, have flooded social media with their reaction – largely apathy.
The date of the fixture is still unknown. The original date of September 5 could well see the match switched as international fixtures are set to be played that day.
Here is how Wednesday supporters reacted to the draw..
Archie @swfcAW: Bloody wallsall
Kelly @s26kel: Walsall away please. Said nobody ever.
