The Owls have a number of contracts expiring come the end of the season - one of them being Dutch midfielder, Joey Pelupessy.
Pelupessy, 27, has played 29 games for SWFC this season, and it’s understood he’s attracted plenty of attention as more teams – but a Hillsborough stay is also still an option.

While he’s a player that certainly splits opinion at Wednesday, the stats suggest the club has picked up better results when he’s played than when he hasn’t.
This season he’s missed seven games, and Wednesday have won only one of them - averaging over 1.5 points when he starts compared to only 0.5 points per game when he doesn’t.
According to sources, there are other clubs in the Championship keeping tabs on Pelupessy’s situation as the end of his contract draws closer, while there’s also thought to be interest in him from his home nation of the Netherlands, as well as Turkey, among other countries in Europe.
