The Owls are currently on the lookout for a new man to take on the role of manager at Hillsborough, with Neil Thompson currently holding the fort after the decision was made last month to part ways with Tony Pulis.
There has been plenty of talk amongst fans and former players about the future of the club as Chansiri weighs up who should come in to take on the role, and Palmer says that he’d be more than happy to take on the challenge.

Give me control of all playing matters and the funds he has allocated to previous managers. Give me two full seasons, if I don’t get promotion I pay all my salary back to him if I do he gives me double my salary.
“I would get big Ron or Howard Wilkinson in as technical director, Craig Shakespeare in as first team coach. Two seasons job done. Crowds back, passion back. Premier league. Ask the chairman if any manager would back himself and work for nothing if he fails.”
Plenty of names such as Paul Cook, Vladimir Ivic and Thorsten Fink have been linked with the post, however as things stand it will be Thompson who once again takes control of the side when they take on Everton on January 24th.
