Sheffield Wednesday WILL be playing in front of supporters this weekend against Norwich City
and live on Freeview channel 276
While it may be some time before Hillsborough sees any fans back through the turnstiles, the Owls will see some spectators in the stands this weekend when they make the trip to Norwich City’s Carrow Road.
The 5-0 demolition at Brentford’s Griffin Park on March 7th was the last time that SWFC were in front of a crowd, and it’s now been confirmed that – in line with government guidelines – a limited amount of tickets are on sale for Saturday’s game.

Hide AdNorfolk head into tier two this week as the lockdown laws are lifted, meaning that NCFC are allowed 2,000 people inside the stadium, however South Yorkshire’s tier three status which means no supporters at S6.
A statement on Norwich’s official website last night read, “A limited number of tickets remain on sale for Norwich City’s upcoming Sky Bet Championship games against Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest at Carrow Road.
“City host the Owls at Carrow Road on Saturday, December 5 (3pm KO) and then welcome Forest on Wednesday, December 9 (7.45pm KO).
“Following recent confirmation on a return of fans to stadium from the government and the EFL, a limited number of 2,000 tickets for each fixture went on sale to season ticket holders at 9am on Tuesday, December 1.

First up, however, is a visit to Hillsborough from Reading this evening.
