That’s according to Owls midfield pair Massimo Luongo and Joey Pelupessy, who speaking to the club’s official website from a team building day out at a shooting activity range reported an ideal atmosphere for what will no doubt be a challenging campaign.
Australian international Luongo, ready to embark on his second season with the Hillsborough club, said: “It's good fun.

“It's about getting to know each other, having time away from the pitch and getting to know everyone individually. The new lads have settled in quite well and the younger lads have stepped in, they're a bit of a laugh so it's all good.”
It was a line followed by fellow midfield man Pelupessy, who fresh off a new contract said he was enjoying the new-look feel to proceedings. “It's good for the team, it's a good start to the season and we're enjoying it,” he said.
“The first week we did a big job, running a lot. And even here we've done a lot of running and doing something else, it's good for the group. Having everyone here, the players, the officials and the staff.”

“We know the challenge ahead, we know it's a massive, massive challenge for us. But all I can say is that every one of the people involved, not just me, the staff, the players, everyone. We're trying to connect that unity together, we know that spirit is going to be essential throughout all the challenges this season and the ups and downs that we do have.
“But so far we've started a really strong foundation of that togetherness and now we're going to build on that for sure.”
