The Star exclusively revealed yesterday that senior players at the club are considering issuing a two-week notice on the back of continued unpaid wages. The club remain under the confines of a transfer embargo, though it is understood players can be signed on a free transfer basis or on non-fee loans.

Hide AdA rebuild is on the horizon, Moore himself has said, after the club confirmed 10 senior players would be leaving Wednesday at the end of their current deals.
Some 77% of respondents to the Star survey said they felt Moore is the right man to take the club forward, with 38.4% indicating they were ‘very confident’.
Just over one in five – 20.8% – indicated they felt ‘the jury is still out’ on his suitability.
Another resounding commendation came when asked about the transfer market.

Hide AdSome 76.1% said they were looking forward to the prospect of a new-look playing squad at S6, with 64.8% of respondents more confident in the club’s forthcoming transfer activity with Moore at the helm.A further 2.8% indicated they were ‘very confident’.
Nearly a third of respondents (32.5%) said they were ‘not confident at all’ that the transfer window would be a positive one for the club.
In a post-season interview with Wednesday’s official website, Moore stated his determination to rebuild not just the club’s on-field outlook, but to bring the club closer to its supporters.
The 47-year-old is understood to be back fighting fit after he was hospitalised with the after-effects of Covid-19 and has taken a tight grip of the steering wheel at S6.
