Sheffield Wednesday explain COVID-19 delay for Owls Foundation

The weekly draw has been not taken place since the start of this month, and the club have explained that the three delayed draws will now be done this coming Friday.
A statement on the club’s official website read, “We would like to inform all Owls Foundation Members that the draws of weeks eight, nine and 10 were postponed due to the lottery department falling victim to COVID-19 and being unable to process the draws during this time.

Hide Ad“We are pleased that the department is now back up and running and aiming to run the missing draws later this week.”
They gave the dates as follows:
Week 8 – Originally scheduled for 4 February will now take place on Friday 26 February.
Week 9 - Originally scheduled for 11 February will also take place on Friday 26 February.
Week 10 - Originally scheduled for 18 February will also take place on Friday 26 February.

Hide AdWednesday went on to say, “Once the outstanding draws have been completed, then week 11 (originally scheduled for Thursday 25 February) will also take place on Friday 26 February, bringing us back up to date for week 12 and we will revert to the usual draw day Thursday, which will be 4 March.
“All results will be updated on the Owls Foundation page of our official website and all winners will be notified in the usual way.”
