Moore joined the Owls on Monday after leaving Doncaster Rovers for S6, and got straight to work with a training session and press call ahead of the visit of the Millers on Wednesday evening.
A debut victory could potentially see them close the gap on 21st-placed Birmingham City, but would also offer some revenge for the 3-0 demolition under Garry Monk back in October.

“It’s one that we plan and prepare for, but also look forward to. Wednesday night is going to be excellent, I’m just sorry to see that the fans can’t see it first-hand.
“But I’m sure from the safety of their homes they’ll be tuned into the match…
“We know Paul and his teams are tough opponents to play against. It’s a local derby, so whatever the form guide was in it goes out of the window. We know it’s a big game on Wednesday evening.”

He added, “We’ve got some players out on the treatment table, which doesn’t help things, but they are where they are… Our first port of call for them is to see them get their full fitness back.
“We’ve got to focus on what we have available, and get the squad prepped for another tough week. That’s exactly what we’re doing. I came in, looked at the squad, and it was wonderful to work with them. We’re looking forward to more of the same.”
Wednesday and Rotherham face off at 7.45pm tomorrow night.
