Sheffield Wednesday: Daniel Pudil hints that he is close to signing for a new club
The Owls man was confirmed as one of six players that will be released at the end of their Hillsborough contracts, with the 33-year-old expressing his pride at playing for “one of the biggest clubs in the UK”.
But the Czech Republic international might have already found a new club after hinting that a deal was already underway in a post on his Instagram story.

The left-back featured 11 times for Wednesday this season, but did not get any game time under new manager Steve Bruce.
He was signed by the Owls in August 2015 on loan from Watford before completing a permanent switch the following summer, and spent almost four years at Hillsborough, clocking up 113 appearances.
Wednesday’s other out of contract players – George Boyd, Almen Abdi, Gary Hooper, David Jones and Marco Matias – are yet to find new clubs for when their current deals expire this summer.
