Sheffield United midfielder John Lundstram has spoken out on the VAR decision that denied his side a goal in their 1-1 draw with Spurs earlier in the month, and has suggested a way in which the system could be improved.

In an entertaining affair at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, David McGoldrick tucked the ball beyond Paulo Gazzaniga to spark wild scenes in the away end, but Lundstram was subsequently adjudged to have been a fraction offside in the build-up to the goal.

The decision to rule the Blades' goal out involved a lengthy delay, and in an interview with Sky Sports, Lunny spoke strongly about his frustration with the time taken to disallow the goal, as well as suggesting a way to improve the system.
