Both teams are in desperate need of a win having found themselves in a tough run of form, with the Owls eager to get back to winning ways on the back of consecutive home defeats at the hands of Brentford and Luton Town.
Rotherham, meanwhile are six games without a victory following their promotion up from League One last season with Paul Warne, and the Wednesday boss has told his players that they need to make sure their desire to come out on top at the New York Stadium outweighs their opponents.

“They want to fight to stay in this league, push on from there and establish themselves as a Championship team - so they’re going to have that fight, we have to match that and come out on top.”
The Millers haven’t won this season since beating Wycombe Wanderers on the opening day of the campaign, but Monk is fully aware of the threat that they can pose for the Owls and will be preparing his team accordingly.
He added, “Whatever team we’re playing, we prepare, analyse and show the lads the best version of that team - so they know what to expect and what we have to try and overcome. It’ll be no different for Rotherham.”
