Young attacker Antoine Semenyo, who incredibly has missed just one of the Robins’ matches across all competitions this season, came off early to leave Nigel Pearson’s side with just 10 men in their 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Sheffield United-linked Semenyo was nursing a neck injury, while experienced full-back Danny Simpson, who had been on trial at Wednesday shortly before his free transfer switch last month, will not take part.

“Antoine is fine. That’s really where we are. There are no more changes apart from that, so the players who you know as being out are no closer to being back. The only changes would be people like Nathan Baker who is back on the field running.
“He looks better. We’ve got players like Chris Martin, who has done running this week. He’s back on the grass which is good.
“It’s not really going to affect the squad makeup this week.”

Joost van Aken was a near ever-present under Garry Monk and Tony Pulis but has not played since sustaining an injury in the Boxing Day draw at Blackburn, while Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has been out for seven weeks after sustaining an ankle knock in defeat at Brentford.
The Owls will of course be without manager Darren Moore who is recovering from pneumonia after suffering from Covid-19.
“They’re fine and it’s now about getting those boys some volume to their game,” Moore said on their progress. “They’ve been out for a little while and they’re getting volume to their training and some game time.
